League Rules

The NOLL follows different sets of rules for different age groups. For bantam age boys and girls (2-4 grades), we follow a modified set of USA Lacrosse rules, which are designed to promote player experience and safety, fair competition, balance between offense and defense, alignment across all levels of play, and preservation of the integrity of the game.

Youth and Middle School players follow high school lacrosse rules (NFHS), which are similar to college lacrosse rules but with some modifications such as shorter game duration and stricter stick specifications.
